Production Update

Fractured Sky is halfway through production! For people who are still interested in the Fractured Sky campaign, the last day to commit to a late pledge is August 15th, 2023. We have made some updates to the player trays to make the privacy screens more stable while in play and we are currently working on an issue with storing machine-painted pieces for overseas shipping. To prevent the paint from sticking to other pieces, Panda is helping us create a tray to separate each individual piece. We will be posting more behind-the-scenes content as we continue to work on perfecting Fracture Sky for you. Make sure to follow us on social media for all of our updates! 

IV Studio will be at Gen Con 2023! 

This will be our 4th year attending and we are so excited to demo Mythic Mischief Vol 2 and Fractured Sky, both retail and super deluxe versions, at this year's Gen Con! To find us, look for Booth 3019 at the far corner of Hall F next to the Hoosier Concourse entrances (see map below). Our booth will be hard to miss-- just look for the 5 massive TV screens. We will be selling Moonrakers (including Titan), Veiled Fate, and Mythic Mischief, along with the expansions and accessories, too. 

We are also giving away a free pin to people who show us they are following IV Games on any of our platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, Discord, Youtube, etc). Only while supplies last though, so be sure to visit us early and come hang out with our game team! 

Analysis Paralysis

We have a new weekly show in production called Analysis Paralysis on Youtube! It's a one stop shop for board game industry news, crowdfunding news, IV Studio updates, and what games we're currently playing. Come hang with us every week and maybe win some prizes!

Production Has Started

It's a special feeling when, after years of working on a game project, you finally get to have thousands and thousands of copies created. We're happy to share that we placed the mass production order for the Fractured Sky at the beginning of the month and everything has now entered production.

Part of the process for reaching mass production was a review of the final plastic samples... and wow are we blown away. Everything has turned out even better than expected (and we have high expectations!). Check out these images and videos!

Super Deluxe Contents Update

During the campaign, many Super Deluxe backers asked us to include both the holo and non-holo versions of the objective cards. We had initially though that this wouldn't be possible, but after reviewing the assembly plans with Panda (our manufacturer), we determined it WAS possible. Super Deluxe will now include both holo and non-holo cards!

Fractured Sky Pledge Manager Closing Tomorrow!

The pledge manager is closing tomorrow (sorta)

Thank you to everyone who already completed the pledge manager! At this point, it's most of you 😊

If you haven't yet, please finish your order using the backerkit pledge manager by the end of tomorrow, June 1st. You should be able to find a link to the pledge manager by searching 'backerkit' or 'fractured sky' in your email inbox.

"Closing" the pledge manager means will be placing limits on the quantity of items available to add to pledges. This lets us place our production order without concern that we won't order enough. However, we do order some extras, so nothing will be immediately out of stock, but we also can't say how long it will take for things to start being unavailable—it could be days, weeks, or months! The point is, tomorrow is the last day that you're guaranteed to be able to add new things to your pledge.

A failure to complete your pledge manager by June 1st doesn't mean you won't get your game, but some add-ons may not be available and it's possible your package will be delivered after Kickstarter fulfillment is complete.

NOTE: If you have a $1 pledge and are not planning on adding anything, you can complete the pledge and stop getting emails by changing your pledge level to "I no longer wish to pledge".

UKGE

Zac, Sam, and Austin are currently on their way to UKGE! We will have the prototype of Fractured Sky with us (Assuming Austin's luggage makes it, he missed a connection en route) and we would love to show it to you in person and play a game if you will be there. 

We are at Stand 1-305!

The Pledge Manager is Closing Thursday June 1st

Pledge Manager is Live!

The Pledge Manager (BackerKit) Launch!

The BackerKit pledge manager is now active. You should have already received an email from BackerKit inviting you to manage your pledge. If you don't receive it today, please check your spam folder. If it's not in your inbox or spam, email us at [email protected].

The BackerKit email will take you to the pledge manager, where you will be adding your address and paying for shipping (and VAT in applicable countries). You will also be able to add on additional games, accessories, and Moonrakers items during this process.

For local pickup, make sure you select "Local pickup" as your country. It's only available in Nashville, TN.

Pledge Manager Schedule

The pledge manager will be open through May 31st. After that time, you will still be able to complete your pledge from Kickstarter but adding any games/add-ons or upgrading pledges may not be possible. This is especially important for $1 backers—after May 31st you may not be able to upgrade to deluxe or super-deluxe.

Adding Items After Submission

Orders will automatically lock and charge your card as soon as they are submitted. Please be sure your order details are final before submitting. 

In past years, we have had many backers reach out to add additional items after they complete the pledge manager. 

To help with this, we will reopen access for locked orders to purchase additional add-ons on May 15th which will last until May 31st. Any additions made on locked orders will charge when we close the pledge manager on the 31st.

Fractured Sky Hoodie and Hat

Designs for the Hoodie and Hat are in and we can't wait to wear these things!

Errored Pledges

Occasionally payments are declined when Kickstarter attempts to process your pledge. If your payment is declined, you will receive an email from Kickstarter every 48 hours this week until it is fixed. If not fixed by Monday evening, then your pledge will be abandoned.

If you used APPLE PAY and don't have an email on your account, please email us at [email protected] so we can invite you to the pledge manager. If you have already emailed, don't email again, we will reply once the pledge manager is live!
